Grobag Baby Sleep Bags come in a variety of soft fabrics, and all of the designs have a cotton lining to go next to your baby’s skin. They are available in woven cotton, organic cotton, soft cotton jersey, luxurious velour and soft anti-pill fleece. Our 2.5 tog grobag® baby sleeping bags have a soft polyester filling which is lightweight and quick to dry. The 1.0 and 0.5 tog Grobag Baby Sleep Bags are made of 100% cotton, as there is no filling on the lighter weight togs. Zips and poppers are always selected from a reputable branded supplier to ensure the highest ongoing quality and safety. Grobag Baby Sleep Bags can be washed at 40°C and tumble dried on a low heat setting. As with all cotton goods, we have designed Grobag Baby Sleep Bags to allow for up to 5% shrinkage. Experience has told us that it is usually best to buy two Grobag Baby Sleeping Bags – one to wear and one for the wash! To ensure the long life of your Grobag Baby Sleep Bag, the zip must be in the closed position throughout washing, tumble drying and ironing. It is advisable to turn the product inside out before washing. Do not iron over the zip. Sizes and togs: An ideal time to start using a Grobag Baby Sleep Bag is when your baby weighs more than 7 lbs (0-6 mths size). It is very important to check that your baby’s head cannot pass through the neck-hole when the Grobag Baby Sleep Bag is fastened for use. Please remember that these are recommendations only as all babies are different. Make sure that your baby’s legs and feet have freedom to move about, by ensuring that the Grobag Baby Sleep Bag is long enough for your baby. The lengths of Grobag Baby Sleep Bags (from shoulder to bottom) are: 0-6 mths 76cm - 6-18 mths 94cm- 18-36 mths 112cm - 3-6 yrs 128cm. A tog measurement is a European warmth rating: the higher the tog, the warmer the product. Grobag Baby Sleep Bags are available in three tog ratings: - 2.5 tog - Ideal for standard nursery temperatures of 16-20°C (61-69°F) - 1.0 tog - Use during warmer weather and in nurseries of 20-24°C (69-73°F) - 0.5 tog - For hot weather and very warm nursery environments of 24-27°C (73-80°F).
